In series of three events to support the McGrath Foundation the Rotary Club of West Tamar hosted the Rotary Pink Walk.

74 participants walked from Beauty Point to Beaconsfield to raise funds and show awareness for breast cancer.

Approximately $800 dollars was raised as apart of this singular event with two other events held being the “Launch into Pink” held at the Beaconsfield Neighbourhood House event and “Pink Mocktail Party” held at the Moon Lily Kitchen.

The McGrath Foundation is a breast cancer support and education charity in Australia, which raises money to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia and increase breast health awareness.

McGrath Foundation funds Breast Care Nurses in communities right across Australia.

They currently have 135 McGrath Breast Care Nurses, who help individuals and their families experiencing breast cancer by providing physical, psychological and emotional support, for free.
