The Hillwood Berry Farm is looking incredibly “lush, leafy green with lots of blooms” in preparation from Berry seasons opening in 2018.
For many years the Hillwood Berry Farm have prided themselves on a business model that both distributes quality Tasmanian produce to supermarkets across Australia and allows tourists and locals alike to hand pick your own produce to enjoy.
From Thursday the 1st of November the Hillwood Berry Farm is open to the public.
The Hillwood Berry Farm is a delightful activity for both family and friends. Free entry for anyone wanting to watch the picking. But why watch?
Picking is priced at $10.00 per kilo of strawberries.
The site offers so much more than strawberries. Raspberries, Blackberries, Red and Black Currants and Blueberries are all available for picking subject to avalibility sold on a per kilo basis.
If picking isn’t your thing the the farm also features a cafe with many local delights, open to the public. Some other local producers featuring at the cafe include Meander Valley Dairy, South Sky cheese, Pyengana and wine made from local vineyards.
Hillwood Berry Farm is just 20 minutes from Launceston located at 105 Hillwood Road, Hillwood.
